Guidance and support surrounding the recruitment of radiographers from international countries
Read our International Recruitment GuidanceThere is need for significant growth in the Allied Health Professions (AHP) workforce to meet the needs of the individuals who use our services. The 14 AHPs form the 3rd largest clinical workforce in the National Health Service (NHS), working across all healthcare settings including social care, education, and housing services.
The new for growth is reflected in many of the UK healthcare strategic plans including the NHS Long term plan and the ‘We Are the NHS: People Plan 2020/21’.
Therefore a considered approach to ethical international recruitment is a vital component of growing this workforce which includes the international recruitment of diagnostic and therapeutic radiographers.
The Society of Radiographers is here to support those seeking to work in the UK as well as those seeking to recruit from international countries.
