Nominations for the 2024 awards have now closed.
This award celebrates a stand-out team who use innovative practices to improve service delivery or radiography education. They demonstrate exceptional multi-professional collaboration and are committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
To be eligible for this award, at least 2 members of the team should be currently in SoR membership.
The individual making the nomination, should also be a SoR member.
The Radiography Professional of the Year award aims to recognise a remarkable individual’s contribution to our profession. They are committed to delivering outstanding patient care and have made a positive impact on service delivery and teams.
Regional Radiography Professional of the Year; one winner per region / country receives £100
UK Radiography Professional of the Year; one overall winner selected from the regional / country winners receives an additional £250
Winners from this category are also eligible for the Patient's Choice Award for Exceptional Care (selected by the Patient's Advisory Group)
The person making the nomination and the individual being nominated, should both by SoR members, in current membership.
This award recognises a student or apprentice who has demonstrated passion for our profession. They have excelled academically and clinically, delivered high levels of patient care, and have contributed positively to the student cohort, working environment and/or wider radiography community.
The individual being nominated should be student radiographer on a pre-registration programme or one undertaking a degree apprenticeship that has been approved by the College of Radiographers. They should be in student membership with the SoR or in membership under the relevant category for those undertaking a degree apprenticeship.
This a student nominated award, which honours an educator who is committed to improving the learning experiences of students and/or radiography apprentices. They promote inclusive learning environments, use innovative teaching methods, and inspire their students.
The individual being nominated, should be a SoR member and part of a teaching team delivering a pre-registration programme or a degree apprenticeship that has been approved by the College of Radiographers.
The person making the nomination should be a SoR student member or in SoR membership under the relevant category for those undertaking a degree apprenticeship.
This award highlights best-practices in delivering patient-centred care. It recognises an individual or team’s commitment and achievement in improving patient experiences.
Winning recipients are selected by the Patient Advisory Group (PAG). The PAG will review all nominations that have been submitted for the Radiography Professional and Radiography Team of the Year categories and select worthy winners.
