Breast Imaging

Aiming to build a network and build a support for all w Radiographers working for the UK breast imaging symptomatic and screening service.

Purpose

To connect with fellow Radiographers working for the UK breast imaging symptomatic and screening service. This group will aim to discuss evidence-based practice, promote shared learning and build a network of support across the England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. As a point of contact, this SIG will aim to have a representative from each region, promoting the work of the SCoR and the SIG. Webinars will be delivered, inviting members to deliver proposals, case studies and research findings.

Aims

This SIG will promote and develop best practice in order to optimise breast cancer detection and delivery across the United Kingdom. This group will promote study and research amongst all radiographers that work in breast imaging. Collaboration amongst members will provide the opportunity to undertake national studies with the hope of publishing findings. This group has the potential to collate a census of practitioners, providing the opportunity to tap into the wealth of expertise and knowledge.

Membership

This group is aimed at Radiographers who are actively working for the UK breast imaging symptomatic and screening services. 

If you're well versed in this field and are looking for other individuals within the same area, then this will be the place for you.
