Personal data is being generated at a breakneck pace as evident across our personal and professional lives. To improve how organisations treat personal data the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018 has being brought into law. DPA 2018 springboards control of personal data over to the individual to improve transparency and to enable individuals to have a say in how their personal data is to be used. This approach should enhance accuracy and management of personal information.
To comply with DPA 2018 the Society and College of Radiographers have revised - and where necessary developed - data protection policies. These are now available below.
