ARC Passport Competition T&Cs

Terms and conditions for the ARC Passport competition.

  1. This prize draw is open to delegate pass holders only who are UK residents over the age of 18. Exhibitors, Society and College of Radiographers staff, Council, College Board of Trustees and ARC working party members are prohibited from taking part.
  2. Entrants into the draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  3. To enter the prize draw you must obtain a full set of stamps from participating exhibitors and provide your contact details in the space provided within the passport. All exhibitor stamps must be on the relevant page. No purchase is necessary. For any queries, please speak to a member of the Society and College of Radiographers’ conference and events team.
  4. Only one entry per person. Delegates found to have submitted more than one entry will be removed from the draw. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  5. The closing date for the prize draw is 15:55 on 5 October 2024. Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.
  6. One winner per company will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  7. The Society and College of Radiographers accepts no responsibility for entries which are not received, or which are incomplete, corrupt or delayed for any reason.
  8. It is the responsibility of each exhibiting company to provide their prize for distribution at the awards session on the Saturday afternoon of the conference; exhibitors may present in person or ask the organisers to do this on their behalf. Passport Competition entrants must be present at the awards session in order to be eligible to win a prize. If a winner is not present to receive a prize, rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Society and College of Radiographers shall be entitled to select another winner.
  9. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
  10. The winner may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the prize draw and the winner shall participate in such activity on the Society and College of Radiographers’ reasonable request.
  11. The College of Radiographers will use the details supplied by you for purposes associated with administration of events including research, promotion and fundraising, processing award applications and maintaining event records. Our lawful basis for processing your information is to manage your submission and fulfil our legitimate interest as a professional body. We will share some of your information with the Society of Radiographers and your place of education and/or work. We will retain all information you submit for two years after the event date; afterwards we will retain a minimum dataset to verify your participation.   12. The Society and College of Radiographers accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any person as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting the prize.
  13. The Society and College of Radiographers reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this prize draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Society and College of Radiographers in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
