This session provided attendees with an overview of career pathways within radiography, highlighting the diverse roles available across the various areas; clinical (public and private), academia and industry. Participants learned about role extension and ways in which they can increase their scope of practice in various sectors and how future trends are shaping the industry, such as Artificial Intelligence. We hope this session will inspire attendees to think critically about their career goals and how they align with industry needs.

Networking as a Career Catalyst: Building Connections for Success

This webinar is part of the Students' and New Professionals' Employability Series, in collaboration with Skilled Personnel.

This session focused on the power of networking as a tool for career development and how radiographers must utilise social media, not only to improve their own online presence, but create greater awareness of radiography as a profession. You will learn practical strategies to build and sustain professional relationships, create impactful profiles on professional social networking sites such as LinkedIn and the Skilled Personnel Network.

We’ll also aim to demonstrate how leveraging connections can help uncover hidden opportunities. Real-world examples of successful career networking will be shared, and participants will be given valuable exercises to practice their networking skills.
