Are you interested in supporting the HCPC Education department? Do you want to help ensure HCPC standards are met?
HCPC are seeking Diagnostic Radiographers (along with other AHPs) to undertake the role of visitor and lead visitor.
Tracey Samuel-Smith, HCPC Education Manager explains ‘Visitors and lead visitors are responsible for providing their professional expertise to the assessment of existing and proposed education and training programmes delivered by education providers. They make a real difference to the work we do and how we help to protect the public. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and help safeguard people using our registrant’s services by ensuring education and training programmes meet our standards.’
We encourage registrants to apply for this role even if you don’t feel you are able to act as a lead visitor at this point. We will provide you with training and support, and you may wish to choose to only accept visitor work for a while to allow you to familiarise yourself with our processes.
We pay £206 full assessment fee for lead visitors and £82 assessment support fee for visitors. Any travel and accommodation expenses are paid in accordance with the HCPC Expenses Policy.
We expect you to commit to around five days per year. The length and notice for providing services are variable and can fit most diary commitments and working patterns.
Please visit our recruitment website to apply for this role. Please note that we do not accept CVs and covering letters. For more information about the work of HCPC, please visit our website and our partner section.
All partners must have the right to work in the UK and reside in the country while providing services.
