Education & Professional Development: Moving Ahead

SoR is pleased to bring you this further implementation guidance to its Education and Professional Development (EPD) strategy (CoR 2002), and Education and Professional Development: Moving Ahead (CoR 2003). This document recognises that for patients, staff and employers to benefit from the opportunities outlined in the EPD strategy, continual development, growth and embedding of professional skills and culture is a priority. Additionally, the profession must work closely with employers to identify adequate resources to support development opportunities and to ensure that effort and skills are properly rewarded. It also recognises that the strategy cannot be delivered without the support of the profession as a whole.
