The Royal College of Radiologists, the Society and College of Radiographers and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine formed a multidisciplinary working party comprising clinical oncology, cardiology, therapeutic radiography and medical physics expertise to develop evidence-based guidelines for the management of cancer patients receiving radiotherapy with a cardiac implanted electronic device and this clinical guideline is published as a result of this work.
