CT Advisory Group seeks interested radiographers for expert support

A vacancy in the Computed Tomography Advisory Group has prompted the SoR to seek expressions of interest from members

The Computed Tomography Advisory Group is among the SoR Advisory Groups seeking interested radiographers to join the team.

With one vacant position available, the SoR is inviting expressions of interest for radiographers involved in or connected to Computed Tomography (CT) scanning.

The CT Advisory Group is “instrumental” in safeguarding the interests of CT service users. Members of the group develop and promote safety and best practices for the technology.

The CTAG promotes the role of the professional body and trade union for radiographers in CT imaging, and will make recommendations to inform and support the strategy of the Society in the context of CT.

'Respected and held in high esteem'

Applications will be taken from all sections of the radiography community and from all four UK countries.

Those wishing to apply must be:

  • In good standing with the SoR (as evidenced by a strong membership record)
  • Respected and held in high esteem by their peers
  • Excellent collaborators and active team/board members
  • Energetic and enthusiastic in relation to the profession/education
  • Able and willing to devote time and energy to the group between meetings by email and other electronic means and be able to attend up to two meetings per year - one virtual and one in person in London
