The European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS) is calling for eligible professionals to apply to the role of communication channels coordinator.
The role entails posting social media and website content for the EFRS to raise its profile and boost professional engagement. It is a part-time role, requiring three-four hours each week.
In addition, the role is a honorarium-based position and would be suitable for a radiographer looking for flexible, part-time work.
An ideal candidate would be a radiographer who is also a member of the EFRS Member Society. They would also have experience with content scheduling tools, implementing social media strategies and be enthusiastic about promoting radiography as a profession.
They must also have strong written communication skills, editing capabilities and be proficient in social media engagement strategies.
Specifically, the successful candidate will need to ensure the EFRS has a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X through the organisation's social channels. This would involve planning and scheduling content using scheduling software. This includes highlighting upcoming activities, such as contests, polls and awards.
The chosen applicant would also be tasked with creating graphics for social media using Canva Pro, to which they will be granted access to. As well as this, they would also be expected to suggest content for EFRS platforms across its website, mailing list and podcasts.
To apply for the role of communication channels coordinator, candidates must send an expression of interest letter, an up-to-date CV and proof of membership with the National Society to [email protected] by the 31 January 2025 deadline. Those who progress onto the second stage will be chosen to participate in an online interview with EFRS Management.
The successful candidate will be subject to a six-month probationary period within the role.
