Announcing plans for UKIO 2024 - Vision and values: Putting people first, the organisers also said the event will feature an accessible pricing model.
UKIO is organised by the College of Radiographers, the British Institute of Radiology, and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
A statement from the organisers said: “The 2023 congress saw a refreshed format and we’ve spent the last few months listening to feedback and putting plans in place for the 2024 event. As always, UKIO will be the place to come for cutting-edge, practice-based content for a multidisciplinary audience, to join up with like-minded professionals, to gain up to three days of CPD, and to visit a large professional exhibition of the latest state-of-the-art equipment, services and technology.”
Registrations are due to open before the end of the year, and early booking discounts will be available.
Plans for the 2024 edition of UK include:
On the pricing model, the organisers added: “And like the 2023 congress, we’ll deliver this in an accessible way with a pricing model that reflects that times are hard for the NHS and the country as a whole, study budgets have been reduced, and many delegates might be self-funding their CPD.
“There will continue to be value-for-money congress fees to access the entire three days of the event, as well as a full-access free ticket on the Wednesday. In addition, we’ll be bringing in exhibition-only options, which can be used on any day.”
