The autumn meeting of the British Nuclear Medicine Society is due to be held later this year, with topics of interest for members of the Society.
The event will take place on Monday 14 October and Tuesday 15 October, and will be held at The Assembly House and The Forum in Norwich.
Attendees can expect to hear discussions on a number of topics, including non-FDG oncology, endocrinology and radionuclide therapies.
The two-day event will begin with two invited talks on 14 October, which will be followed by dinner in the ballroom at the Assembly House. An all-day conference will be held on 15 October, running from 9am and ending at 5pm. The talks will be held across two parallel sessions.
Speakers include Professor Mark Gurnell of the University of Cambridge, Dr LuigiAloj of the Cambridge University Hospitals Trust and Dr Elizabeth De Vries of the University Medical Centre Groningen.
The event will be hosted by a local organising committee from Cambridge University Hospitals and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals. The committee is led by Dr Clare Beadsmore, Chief of Imaging at Norfolk and Norwich University hospital and Professor Ferdia Gallagher, Head of the Department of Radiology at the University of Cambridge.
Attendees are also invited to submit ideas for poster presentations. The deadline for submissions is 1 September.
The BNMS noted that the posters will not be judged and no prizes will be awarded - however, there will be time to discuss your poster submission with delegates.
Registration for the event opened on 30 June, with early bird access available until 30 September. Booking with the early bird rate saves 30% on fees.
There are two ticket options available - one for full-event access across both days, and one for the 15 October conference only. A group booking discount of 10% is available for departments with five or more attendees.
Radiographers can register to attend here.
