The deadline to submit presentation and poster abstract submissions for the National Association of Educators in Practice (NAEP) conference is 29 January.
NAEP 2020, titled ‘Whose placement is it anyway?’, is an excellent opportunity for practice educators and those with an interest in practice education.
It will take place on 24 April 2020 at The Studio in Birmingham.
Dr Leslie Robinson has been confirmed as the conference keynote speaker and her presentation title will be 'Changing places: educating for patient and public partnerships'.
An honorary reader at the University of Salford and honorary associate professor at the University of Swansea Medical School, Leslie was a key person in the development of the CoR’s 4Ps document: Patient Public and Practitioner Partnerships within Imaging and Radiotherapy: Guiding Principles.
Her talk is positioned within the person-centred model of health where health has been defined as the ability to adapt and to self-manage, in the face of social, physical and emotional challenges.
It will use the College of Radiographers’ Patient, Public and Practitioner Partnership (4P) document as an example of how partnership working might be played out in practice and consider how education can respond, ensuring that students (and qualified staff) are partnership ready.
Bookingis now open for the conference. Tickets cost £98 or there a limited number of £50 tickets for pre-registration students.
