You can now book your place for the 2016 Chief Allied Health Professions Officer Annual Conference, taking place on 23 June at the Business Design Centre, London.
The event is aimed at AHP’s and AHP leaders, providing a platform to facilitate the sharing of ideas, discus major initiatives such as the Five Year Forward View and hear from experts on the latest innovation.
Some of the main themes of the event include:
• ‘My Health'; providing solutions to the care and quality gap delivering care radically differently to the people we serve, reducing variation and managing demand.
• 'Our Health'; providing solutions to the health and wellbeing gap delivering population based solutions to radically upgrade prevention, harnessing the 'renewable energy' of communities.
• Quality and Efficiency; transformational redesign for 'my health' and 'our health' requires a continual focus on quality and efficiency to ensure delivery and funding resource.
The 2016 event promises to build on last year’s success, where it was acknowledged that: "the NHS is not just about doctors and nurses, with growing AHP leadership at all levels and raising the profile of the professions via social media, there is a recognition that AHPs are key to delivering the future NHS.”
The event will also include the launch of the AHP strategy for England, which will identify the key priorities for the AHP’s as a collective.
