Health Education England e-learning for Healthcare (HEE e-LfH) are developing new Covid-19 specific material to support radiographers.
A new e-LfH microsite signposts e-LfH programmes and other relevant external resources.
There is also a new Coronavirus programme on the eLfH hub which contains:
- Essential guidance from the NHS, UK government and World Health Organisation
- Infection prevention and control
- Public Health England – Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Critical care resources
These are a work in progress and e-LfH have convened a Clinical Reference Group to identify the correct content to ensure resources are up-to-date and relevant. New materials will be added and existing content will be updated/repurposede.
Learning materials from universities are being developed to support students who have not yet completed their courses.
Radiographers and sonographers should go to the Imaging Interpretation Radiological Images (e-IRI)) programme for specific training on imaging modalities. The sessions on x-rays of the adult chest may be particularly relevant:
All programmes are free to access to staff working in the NHS and independent sector. The requirement to register and log in has been remo
ved.
Please note that if you do not log in, then your activity will not be tracked and you will not create a learning record. For example, if you are returning to work and need to complete statutory and mandatory training, then you will need to be logged in so that the system knows who you are

The Coronavirus programme will be available to international users at no cost via e-Integrity. This is in the process of being set up and will be available soon.
