It’s a busy time of year for us as we gear up for a run of exciting events in the new year and spring.
2017 will begin on a high with the Annual Radiotherapy Conference, starting on 27 January. We’re really excited about this flagship event, not only because it has a packed programme, dozens of expert speakers and a large, interactive exhibition, but because it will be held in a brand new venue – the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead.
We’re confident that delegates will like the new location and venue, and enjoy some of the many delights Newcastle has to offer. Places are filling fast, so please book now to avoid disappointment.
Every year, the team sits down to devise an events programme that is relevant to all members of the SCoR. Whether you’re just about to embark on a career in radiography, or have ‘been there and done that’, we work hard to offer a wide range of engaging learning opportunities.
For those who have been looking to develop their leadership skills, we’re sorry to announce that the February/March cohort of our immensely popular leadership course – Developing Excellence in Clinical Leadership – is now full. However, you can still add your name to the waiting list to receive notification of cancellations and future course dates.
Places are still available on our Exploring the Use of Social Media to Support the Radiography Workforce study day in April. If you’re looking for new, creative ways to boost your learning, engage with other professionals in your field or generally learn more about communicating through online media, then book your place now.
The event will be held at Holiday Inn in Manchester – another fabulous location.
Thank you to everyone who has joined us at an event this year. We look forward to meeting many more of you in 2017.
In the meantime, very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year from the Conference & Events team.
