A joint meeting hosted by the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) and the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) will focus on practical radiation protection in diagnostic imaging.
The event is taking place on 19 April 2018 at the British Dental Association, London.
On the agenda will be solutions for the practical problems in radiation protection, with topics covered including:
- how to wear and look after your PPE
- using grids
- using lead protection on patients
- dealing with patient carers and managing personal monitoring
- ‘ask the expert’ session where attendees can pose questions to our knowledgeable panel.
