Radiology service managers throughout the UK are being urged to respond to a survey to find out the extent and scope of advanced clinical and consultant practice in diagnostic radiography.
Funded by Health Education England under the guidance of the SoR, the survey is in response to the Multiprofessional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice, published in 2017.
The survey results will help inform how radiographer advanced and consultant practice roles fit into the framework. Respondents are asked not to include sonographer roles.
The project leads, Professor Bev Snaith and Dr Nick Woznitza, are happy to answer questions about the survey. The data is being collected anonymously and is confidential. No individual or organisation will be identified in any report. Participants can ask to be sent the project findings. The study has been reviewed by the University of Bradford Research Ethics Committee.
Closing date for responses is 30 November.
