The Scottish Terms and Conditions (STAC) staff side negotiating team met with Scottish government representatives on 19 January to formally start the 2023-24 pay and reward negotiations.
STAC met directly with Humza Yousaf, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, and John Swinney, the Deputy First Minister.
SoR National Officer for Scotland, Yvonne Stewart, who was part of the STAC negotiating team, said: “There was meaningful discussion on this, the first day of talks regarding NHS Scotland Pay for 2023/24, and both sides have committed to meeting again soon”.
