The 5th Annual RCN Glove Awareness Week, starts on the 2nd of May and focuses attention on the consequences of wearing medical gloves when they are not required, and urges clinicians to safely reduce glove use.
Rose Gallagher MBE will give an introduction to the RCN work and Andrew Caddick will introduce the MOOC, which is a Massive Open Online Course being developed as part of a shared effort to reduce inappropriate glove usage, followed by a chance to discuss how AHPs can take this work forward.
It is hoped that as many AHPs as possible can attend. The webinar will be chaired by Wendy Briggs, Clinical Procurement and Quality Assurance Specialist -The Clinical Procurement and Quality Assurance Team.
