From February, the Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee (ARSAC) will upgrade its online application portal to include Employer licence applications and will no longer accept employer applications submitted by email.
The online system will feature an updated New Employer application form and an Amendment or Renewal application form.
These will be available on the ARSAC portal shortly and from the 1st March it will stop accepting applications received on previous versions of the application form. Notifications will continue to be processed by email.
The portal is web browser based and will allow applicants to submit their application, respond to queries and monitor progress similar to practitioner and research applications.
Further details and guidance is currently in development. Technical guidance on how to use the portal will be available on confluence and guidance on the application process is on the ARSAC website and applicants advised to check the website for the correct form and process.
