Research grants of £1500 and £3000 are available from the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT).
The theme of the 2020 Chesney Research Competition is Patient Safety in Medical Imaging.
Applicants are invited to propose a research project by the closing date of 30 September. The grant is £1500 for a one year project and £3000 for two years.
The project may include improved or newly developed methodology, or modification to standard protocols and procedures which may result in a sustainable or improved quality service in the respective discipline of medical imaging and radiation therapy.
Applications with other themes are also welcome but priority will be given to applications following the Patient Safety in Medical Imaging theme.
The research fund guidelines and application form will be available on the ISRRT website. Additional information can be requested from the ISRRT’s CEO. The closing date for applications is 30 September. Funding decisions will be announced by 31 October.
