A diagnostic radiographer from Royal Preston Hospital has been offered a place on the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West Coast Research Fellowship Internship scheme for 2020.
Rebecca Hankin, band 5 diagnostic radiographer, has been offered the funded research opportunity after applying earlier this year.
The internship supports individuals who have an established interest in research, implementation and evaluation, and are looking to begin the next stage of their research career.
“The aim is to support that person’s application to an NIHR research fellowship award. In my case, this would be the pre-doctoral fellowship,” Rebecca said.
“Both pursuing research relevant to my clinical practice and promoting research within our profession are great passions of mine.”
The NIHR ARC NWC Research Fellowship Internship scheme is open to all Allied Health Professionals.
