This is the first time that members can select the next Vice-President of the Society of Radiographers and there are two candidates to choose from this year.
Katie Thompson is a UK Council member representing the South-West region and Vas Nevrides is on UK Council representing the London region. Both are diagnostic radiographers with a wide range of experience as SoR reps and representing colleagues in the workplace.
You should have received an email on Friday 28 April, containing your link to the voting site, from: [email protected]. The election closes at 5pm on Wednesday 10 May 2023.
We encourage you to exercise your democratic rights and, along with other members, help us elect to this important role. By voting you are making a statement that your opinion matters.
The Vice-President is part of our Presidential leadership team and will ultimately serve as President, as well as Chair of UK Council. Voting is your opportunity to input into the leadership policies, strategies and decisions that shape the lives of members and the future of the SoR.
