The December edition of Synergy is now available for SoR members.
This latest edition leads with an interview with Lizzie Smith, a Therapeutic Radiographer at Worcestershire Royal Hospital's Oncology Centre, who underwent rigorous chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer in 2022.

We see the latest instalment of the SoR's trip to Aberdeen, this time following five radiographers working within NHS Grampian as they recall their career journeys and what attracted them to radiography. Synergy also catches up with Saraaz Khalil, a radiographer we first spoke to earlier this year, about his campaign to bring awareness to the difficulties faced by deaf people in healthcare.
Tamer Ganem a radiographer at Mohammed Yousef El-Najar Hospital, updates Synergy on life in Gaza a year after the most recent conflict began.
We also see the full list of winners at the 2024 Radiography Awards, sponsored by Philips. Radiographers met on 7 November - one day before World Radiography Day - at a glamorous ceremony in London to celebrate some of the most impactful contributions to the profession.
