The Society of Radiographers' Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday 29 April at 5.15pm at Novotel London West.
It is a hybrid meeting, meaning that attendees will also be able to take part online. Attendence by proxy is also permitted. SoR President Tom Welton wil be chairing the meeting.
This year's AGM, taking place alongside the 2025 Annual Delegates Conference in London, will consist of one count of general business and two counts of ordinary business. The general business will be reviewing the minutes of the SoR's 2024 AGM, which took place on 15 April last year.
The SoR will seek to pass two ordinary resolutions - that its consolidated accounts, the independent auditor's report and the directors' report for the financial year ended 30 September 2024 are considered and received, and that Crowe UK LLP is re-appointed as independent auditor of the SoR.
For the latter, it will also be determined whether Crowe LLP will hold office from the end of the AGM until the end of the 2026 AGM and to permit the UK Council to oversee how their fee is fixed.
Votes on the resolutions will take place through a show of hands for online and in-person attendees. A majority of 51 per cent is required to pass an ordinary resolution. All SoR members are eligible to vote, excluding students and SoR staff who are also members.
A member who is eligible to vote is entitled to appoint the Chair or another attendee to vote on their behalf. A completed and signed proxy form must be submitted online, by email or by post.
Registration for online and in-person attendance must be completed before 17:15 on Monday 28 April. Click here to access the registration form. To register for attendance by proxy, click here.
