Published: 07 June 2024 SoR

The June edition of Synergy is now accessible for members of the Society of Radiographers, with new content available through the digital portal.

This month, the magazine features a breakdown of everything radiographers should make sure to check out at this year's UK Imaging and Oncology conference, and an interview with industry leader Dee Mathieson, managing director of radiotherapy company Elekta.

The publication also hears from radiographer Aswa Khan about the importance of improved spiritual support for patients undergoing radiotherapy.

Synergy also sat down with this year’s SoR vice presidential candidates, Robin Bickerton and Rachel Nolan, to find out more about the importance of voting and why you should choose them as future leader of the Society.

Executive director of professional policy Charlotte Beardmore gives a breakdown of the NHS England Workforce Training and Education reform, and how radiographers can get involved to help guide advice for the future.

We also outline how the SoR Benevolent Fund can help radiographers going through financial distress or difficulty, and why it’s important to reach out when you need help.

Synergy, now published as an online magazine format, is available to all members of SoR and features the professional lives of radiographers from across the UK.

SoR members can make the most of Synergy’s digital experience to catch up with all the latest radiography news, views and feature articles.
