Sheffield Hallam University has announced a webinar aimed at promoting its Diagnostic Radiographer apprenticeship scheme.

The Diagnostic Radiographer degree apprenticeship webinar will be taking place on 10 January and is designed to show how the course can support the workforce.

Sheffield Hallam’s level 6 degree apprenticeship, accredited by the Health and Care Professionals Council and the Society of Radiographers, allows radiographers to train while they work.

The webinar will cover the benefits of the scheme, including:

  • Enhances skills through reflection - apprentices identify strengths and areas for growth, applying their learning to clinical practice
  • Builds confidence in image interpretation - focused modules develop expertise in evaluating and reviewing images across modalities
  • Delivers real-world impact - assessments are designed to benefit clinical departments and advance apprentices’ practical skills
  • Offers comprehensive radiographic training - early exposure to diverse imaging modalities supports career growth and improved service delivery

Sheffield Hallam said: “Join us on 10 January for our Diagnostic Radiographer degree apprenticeship webinar to learn how our course can help develop your team, equipping radiographers with the skills and knowledge to deliver enhanced patient care.

“The webinar is also an opportunity to speak to the course leader and our dedicated apprenticeship team to find out more about our course and the support we offer.”
