A new opportunity for research delivery staff to share their experiences of delivering priority research in NHS care organisations has been developed by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
A temporary Covid-19 section has been added to encourage people to share their experiences through personal blogs, or via the forum, and support learning about the rapid changes in the environment for delivering research.
“It has been widely recognised that, since the outbreak of Covid-19, the importance of research is becoming more visible and immediate to NHS organisations by the day,” NIHR said.
“We know that for many of you just getting through the day is the focus. We want to make it as easy as possible to share your experience so that we can all also understand the changing attitudes to research in NHS care and the opportunities and challenges of the environment you are working in.”
The Covid-19 subsection within the tool signposts users to a range of resources helping to keep them informed with the latest advances, including a full updated list of the urgent public health studies, links to the key NIHR online learning courses, and updates about the pandemic.
Users with an NHS or NIHR email address can access the feature.
