The SoR UK Council has received two nominations for the vacant Wales seat, and is now calling on members in the region to decide which individual has the capabilities to join the national governing body.

Wales has two seats on the UK Council, one of which is currently held by Clive MacCallum-Roberts(pictured), who was elected earlier this year.

Members can now vote to elect a representative for the second seat, which is currently vacant.

'Carefully make your selection'

Elected individuals serve as a company director for the Society for a minimum term of three years, making it “very important that you have your say!”, according to CEO Richard Evans.

Ballot papers are expected to arrive in the post from independent scrutineer Civica Election services around 25 November.

Enclosed will be information about the members running for the position, as well as their election statements.

Mr Evans said: “Look out for a yellow envelope arriving in the post. Carefully make your selection, before returning your ballot paper in the pre-paid envelope that’s provided.”

Completed ballots must be received by noon on Wednesday 11 December 2024 to be counted.
