Headline sessions at Organise 2020 announced

The four headline sessions at the TUC’s free festival of ideas in union organising, Organise 2020, are open for registration.

You can now sign up to be a part of the following sessions:

Winning for Working People: taking place on 9 July from 11-11.45am, this session is chaired by Pail Nowak, deputy general secretary at TUC with guest speakers Angela Rayner MP, deputy leader of the Labour Party, and Dave Ward, general secretary, CWU.

Organising against the far right and challenging racism internationallyTaking place 9 July 3-5pm,this session will explore strategies being used by trade unions and sister organisations to combat the far right in the workplace and communities and confront institutional racism and how we can build international solidarity.
 

Building stronger unions around the globe: Sharan Burrow, general secretary, ITUC, will be the keynote speaker for this talk, which will take place on 10 July from 10-11.am.

Launch of the Organise 2020 pledge: Join Ged Nichols, TUC president and Frances O’Grady, TUC general secretary, to launch the Organise 2020 pledge on Saturday 11 July from noon-1pm.
