Practice Educator Accreditation Scheme Online Writing Retreat

The College of Radiographers’ (CoR) Practice Educator Accreditation Scheme (PEAS) offers those involved in facilitating practice-based learning in clinical imaging and oncology the opportunity to be recognised and developed through an accreditation system. This session is part of the ongoing work commissioned by NHS England. 

The aims of this writing retreat are to:

• develop an understanding of the requirements of the practice educator accreditation scheme (PEAS)
• develop an understanding of what makes a good application
• provide time for participants to reflect on and develop a plan for their application
• provide time and support for participants to write specific components of their application

• Identifying how you meet the 12 learning outcomes Questions and discussion

10.50-11.00 | Break

11.00-11.30 | Group discussion

11.30-12.15 | Plan your writing/start writing

12.15-13.00 | Lunch

13.00-15:45 | Focused writing time (we stay online if possible)

15.45-16.00 | Summary, final questions, next steps and close

This writing retreat is for those who are:

• SoR members
• working in a practice educator or equivalent role
• planning to submit an application to the practice educator accreditation scheme
