Following on from the success of the first Skills for Life masterclass in London, Health Education England (HEE) will be hosting a series around the country in 2020.
The one-day workshops are designed for health professionals who want to take a strategic approach to basic skills weaknesses in their workplace.
“Weaknesses in maths, English, ICT and English for speakers of other languages create a barrier getting into work and through careers, for those on apprenticeships all the way up to senior managers,” HEE said.
“Come and learn what is being done in other workplaces to tackle these issues, what resources are available to you and network with sector colleagues to build a network of support.”
