Job title: Professional Officer – Ultrasound
Location: London or an agreed remote work base
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week (0.8 full time equivalent will be considered)
Salary: Band D £50,989 FTE per annum plus either London weighting or home working allowance, and final salary pension

The Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) are seeking a full-time Professional Officer for Ultrasound to join their team and contribute to all work the SCoR do that is relative to ultrasound.

The role is based in London, but there is the opportunity to work remotely if prior agreed.

Individuals should have recognised experience in ultrasound practice and education and, as attending member meetings, networking and public speaking are all key parts of the role, skills and experience in these areas are also essential.

Other skills required for applicants include:

  • Recognised expertise and leadership in ultrasound
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • A postgraduate qualification or equivalent related to ultrasound practice/education
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council or other regulatory body, if relevant
